Chuali ki jali-: Chauli ki Jali, located at the hilltop, behind the mukteshwar temple cliff. This is the place, seeks the attraction of nature and adventure lovers. You can have a stunning view of the valley, Almora city and majority of snow covered peaks of Himalayas by standing on the mountain rocks.
Waterfalls-: There are few natural waterfall and streams adjacent to mukteshwar and best suited for a lunch picnic. A trek around1- 2 kms to reach there through a dense green forest. The trek is a good one and also brings you close to nature.
Mukteshwar Dham– Mukteshwar Dham is a 350 years old temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, it is said that Lord Shiva killed a daemon here and granted him salvation(Mukti) hence the place got its name Mukteshwar. You need to climb a series of stone stairs to reach the temple, however the climb is tiring but it worth the efforts.
IVRI-: The IVRI laboratories (experiments on tiny rats, gold-plated books, cattle-sheds), orchards of Central Institutes of Temperate Horticulture-Regional Station, 16 mile x 14 mile wide deodar forest, 22 pristine snow-peak views, and the adventure of living among wildlife like tigers and bears are some of the major attractions of this sleepy town.
